Friday, September 16th:
We will be spending the day at the beach, with lunch and beverages as well as mellow games on the "schedule." If you will be in town during the day Friday and have interest in joining, please let us know!
In the evening, we will meet up at Grace Restaurant in downtown Portland starting at 9 PM for the weekend kick-off with welcome drinks and toasts.
Saturday, September 17th:
Our wedding ceremony will held at 3:30 PM on Saturday afternoon at an old sailing club called TEIA on Peaks Island. The reception -- with food, drink, dancing and general merriment -- will immediately follow and also be held at the sailing club. The reception concludes just after 10 PM and we will head back to Portland by boat for an after-party.
We will be transporting guests from the Maine State Pier directly over to the dock of TEIA. The boats we have chartered will leave the dock in Portland at 2:45 PM on Saturday and return at 10:15 PM in the evening. There will be transportation for guests wishing to depart earlier. Getting to the Maine State Pier is easy -- from Portland you can walk to the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal (note we are not taking the ferry, we have chartered boats but it is the same dock) and for those driving, parking is available at a parking garage right at the dock.
Guests staying on the island will have it easy - walk over to the sailing club!
Sunday, September 18th:
We will be meeting for brunch -- donuts, pulled pork, lobster rolls and other delicious items -- on Sunday from 10:30 AM to 1 PM at The Thirsty Pig. Please plan to come by before you leave!
