Matt has a dry and quick wit, is a great soccer player, and loves all things ham and dessert. Before Katie met Joe, Matt was Katie's head of technology and has been personally responsible for installing almost all technology in Katie's adult apartments. Luckily enough, he possesses the characteristics of both patience and kindness.

Gerhard is Joe’s ice fishing and burger-making companion.
Gerhard is a lover of ultimate frisbee and recycling. He is often mistaken for Tom Brady. Gerhard and Joe share a love for music and beer at all levels of refinement, and have stayed up for more than one night enjoying and discussing the two.

Tina Daniels - Attendant
Tina (center) is a friend from New York and a woman of many talents. Tina never forgets a special day, bakes delicious checker cakes and sautés mushrooms correctly, knits, holds down a senior role at Microsoft, skis like a champion, and pretty much accomplishes with aplomb any of a myriad of challenges set out before her.

Val Tomasello - Attendant
Val (left) and Katie attended Stanford together where they bonded over a shared fear of statistics and love of fashion magazines. Joe and Katie visited Val during her language immersion program in Florence, where together the three explored the wonders of fresh pasta, wine at lunch, and set out to find and enjoy the perfect macchiato.
When not in Florence, Val resides in NYC.

Rachel Winokur - Reader
Rachel (center) and Katie have been friends since Goldman Sachs, where they too survived the trials and triumphs of FIG. Recently, they have enjoyed official double dates, realized that TV is actually pretty cool (as long as it is The Wire and pretty much only The Wire) and with Joe and Jeremy, vow to have a Negroni bar crawl in the not-too-distant future.

Drew Sanocki - Reader
Drew has been Katie’s roommate on both coasts as well as on the playa, inspiration for low-carb as well as something-sweet, and is a terrific person to spend a Saturday roaming around NYC with. Drew is a unique mix of interests - Star Wars, meditation, and modern furniture design among them - and has introduced Joe and Katie to some very cool things in Maine that they somehow managed to completely miss on their own.
Drew and his wife Sara have served as wedding cheat-sheet and inspiration with their May wedding. The two live in and seem to own NYC.

Eric von Stroh - Officiant
Eric is originally Katie's friend from Colgate, but has quickly become close to both members of the couple. In fact, during the first Sundance trip for Katie and Joe, Eric helped cement the relationship with his top-notch ski instruction. Eric has a sense of ceremony as well as humor, and a pleasingly deep tenor. He also has a penchant for Doritos. Eric has been a companion on weekend training runs in the park, which are sometimes followed by all-day (liquid) brunch.
